The objective of "This is Life" is to help answer the almighty question, "Why?" We all go through life’s ups and downs. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place where you could listen to everyday people talk about everyday experiences and gain wisdom on how to handle your own life's battles? We can learn so much from each other if we just listen. This life that we have been given is not only a gift, but a tool to use the experiences of this life and make it better for others. It is our duty as mankind to execute the power inside of us to create peace, love and goodness to this world. Every living soul is worth of unconditional love, respect and kindness. God's love knows no boundaries and neither should ours.

<itunes:subtitle>Fear is a staple in today's churches. Fear is used to control congregations and to keep the people from living free in Jesus! We are taught that God is eagerly anticipating punishing us and chastising us for sin. This is simply NOT TRUE! We are to stand in amazement of God not cower in fear of Him. Don't believe me? Listen...you'll hear straight from the scriptures yourself. </itunes:subtitle>

Fear is a staple in today's churches.

1JO 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.
18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 We love because he first loved us.
20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
21 And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.

What does God expect of you and me? This may seem like a loaded question but the Bible is pretty specific and straightforward when it comes to what God requires of us....and the answer may surprise you! We have not been told the truth in today's churches about what is most important to the Lord.

MIC 6:6 With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly (what is morally right and./or fair) and to love mercy (everlasting mercy - compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm.) and to walk humbly (not high and mighty) with your God.

MAT 12:46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

MAT 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

<itunes:subtitle>During this Coronapocalypse, it seems that not only is there a virus in the molecular level but also a virus of offense and division when it comes to wearing masks. Why are masks so controversial? As Christians, are we missing out on an awesome opportunity to show Christ's love by simply placing a piece of fabric over our nose and mouth when we go out in public? YES! Too many Christians are mask deniers and today we talk about how irresponsible and anti-christian it is to refuse to wear one. </itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:subtitle>Jesus told us in John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." Love is supposed to be the foundation for everything we do. Lately, however, it appears that we are using anything BUT love as a tool to get the gospel message out to the world. We have replaced God's love for mankind with our fear of the world and sin. We no longer believe that God is in complete control and consequently we end up trying to do His job for him. No surprise, we fail miserably. Christians were charged by Jesus to take care of the people of the world and to love them unconditionally, instead we have become the villains. How can we correct this error?
